The third level, M3, buys you the M1 products along with another ticket to a 5 day “wealth conference”. It costs $12,995.
Most of this information is left out when you join carbon copy pro. The only price point they mention is the $8,995, which is the M2 level. Furthermore, Carbon Copy Pro suggests that you have an extra $2,000 to $5,000 in addition to the start up fee. This is meant for advertisement costs. That brings the total start up cost to a minimum of $11,000. And that’s not all; there is a monthly recurring fee of $150. That makes Carbon Copy Pro the MOST expensive online opportunity available today. It is well over 4 to 5 times more expensive than the average internet business. With the average American household income being less than $40k a year, a business that is over $10k is simply out of reach for the majority. Clearly, the people who DO join are already financially set, and most likely look at these types of opportunities as a way to increase their riches, not make them. You got to wonder how long it will be before the market of high income earners will be saturated and Carbon Copy Pro has no one else to market to.
And exactly how useful is this financial management information when you’re marketing to people who probably already have services in place for themselves. And if someone does come up with the funds but had to take extreme measures such as pulling a loan, using the savings, or selling valuables, you would imagine that their main concern is making money, not protecting it.
These are all things you must think about in your evaluation of the business. If the products have a place in the market and people ACTUALLY have a reason to join other than hoping for riches, then maybe Carbon Copy Pro has something going for them. But it’s a tough call to make, and one you have to make yourself. If their claims of making “$250,000 your first year” or “100 new millionaires by 2012″ weren’t so heavily marketed would you still have an interest?
